An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Research Department for a Research Governance Administrator to join the team. Working with the Research Governance & Quality Lead, the role of the Governance Administrator is to support governance activity for research across the Trust, including: Training and the tracking of training, quality management, and financial assurance.

The RGA will work closely with the Research Delivery Business Manager and Research Governance & Quality Lead to ensure that Research at DCH is delivered to a high standard.

The role of Research Governance within the Research Department is multi-faceted and offers an interesting challenge to any motivated and driven individuals. Governance covers areas such as; financial assurance, quality management, training, and administration.

The research department consists of a delivery team of nurses and project managers who all deliver clinical research projects across the Trust under the guidance of the deputy lead research nurse, head of research & clinical lead, and research governance & quality lead. The Research governance assistant will report directly to the governance and quality lead and support the delivery of all research projects across the Trust.

The Research Department at DCH is a dynamic and challenging environment with much opportunity for personal and professional development. Based at Trust Headquarters, the department is active in research, and has particularly active renal, cardiology and critical care portfolios.
