This welcoming and community orientated specialist day centre local to you is seeking a Support worker to join their established team ASAP. This highly regarded specialist day centre supports young adults (19-25 years) on the Autistic spectrum and with other associated conditions (including communication difficulties, medical needs and challenging behaviour). This setting is looking for a full time member of staff to join this award winning and globally recognised day centre on a permanent basis. This setting is needed all year round and offers a £25,000 starting salary and £500 welcome bonus.

The setting is brilliantly resourced, open and welcoming, well equipped and enables the education team to offer an education/curriculum that is broad, fun, interactive and meeting the needs of every learner. This centre is proud to boast a long standing team and leadership with a clear and shared vision. This centre believes in 'working together' and listens to the voices of all including staff, learners and parents.

This centre can offer you the best of the best training and the opportunity to immediately access career developing qualifications and courses. Successful post holders will work on a 1:1 basis with students when required as well as support in class with a small group. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a safe and supportive environment for the young people.

Level 2 Diploma in teaching and learning (desirable not essential)

Relevant support work or teaching assistant experience/ Voluntary or paid experience considered (Must be able to provide references)

Must have: GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
