Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home and one of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Milton Park, Oxfordshire)

About the role:
This role is in the Group CTO directorate that provides digital services to our members and customers, ensuring that our capabilities and expertise are applied cost-effectively and imaginatively. The role will be based in Jisc’s Cyber Security Product Group, responsible for a portfolio of services aimed at protecting the Janet network and those connected to it.

In this role you will be responsible for the Cyber Security division’s overall engagement activity, driving directorate-wide engagement that will bring targeted improvements, focusing on product priorities and audiences and see the value of our collective effort come to life, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities will include:

- Lead the Cyber Security division’s overall engagement with members, customers, funders and other stakeholders and partners, through effective working relationships with senior managers, product teams and the central marketing and communications

team to deliver a consistent and target-driven approach, acting as the focal point for all cyber engagement.
- Responsibility for developing and delivering a clear and compelling cyber security outreach and engagement strategy, working with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure maximum impact and value generation.
- Working with external partners (including the NCSC, GÉANT, funding bodies and members) lead and manage the delivery of best practice cyber security advice and guidance through appropriate channels including workshops, the Cyber Community,

webinars and events.
- Develop excellent working relationships with product and marketing and communication teams to help develop and implement marketing campaigns and engagement activities to support the identified needs of members, supporting key events and

developing impactful content.
- Possess a strong understanding of our product portfolios and objectives, our audiences, their challenges and goals. Understand our communication channels and approaches to engagement and their effectiveness; explore and develop new channels and

content to engage new and growing audiences; recommend, advocate and deliver improvements for success.

- Pro-active approach with ability to think creatively and get things done
- Adaptability to work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups
- Ability to forge effective working relationships and networks with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Acting as an advocate for a key business area and able to challenge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop high quality, engaging and accessible content of all kinds for a range of audiences
