**Job Description**:
**OPERATIONS AGENT**

**Daventry**

**£22-25,000**

**Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm**

**Car driver due to location.**

Job Purpose:
To develop and grow excellent customer relationships and account growth through the delivery of a consistent and high quality service for our VIP customer.
Key Activities:

- The role will cover Road freight/Sea freight and Airfreight
- Making Export Bookings for full container loads and groupage loads using designated carriers
- Creating Export documents (Master Invoice/Certificate of Origin)
- Approving and finalising Bills of Lading/Waybills
- Creating DGNs for Sea freight shipments
- Creating Full Customs Entries for both Airfreight & Sea freight
- Creating T1 entries for European trailers
- Data input of Invoice numbers & values
- Making Airfreight Courier bookings for Express shipments
- Some general admin roles
- Proactively informs customer on shipment status, exceptions and provides intermediate updates on incident solution
- Takes and handles customer inquiries, e.g. Track and Trace
- Supports and works with colleagues in a supportive manner to achieve station metrics.
- Ensures that all customer enquiries are responded promptly and professionally.
- Escalates issues if required.
Skills & Qualifications:

- Customer service focused
- Ideally minimum two years' experience in AFR/OFR
- Experience not essential as training will be given
- Excellent Administrative skills
- Results driven and great attention to detail
- Good written and spoken English
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritise and perform under pressure
