We’re heading for bigger and better things over the coming months, moving from three small warehouses in Tonbridge to a brand-new site three times the size of our current premises put together, with that comes better process and a nicer working environment meaning your working life will be much smoother

Work life balance is important to us here at Albion and we want you to spend more time at home with your family or doing the things you enjoy, so when we relocate, in addition to 30 days holiday you will also get an additional 22 days off a year worked into your rota, meaning you will work just 208 days in a year but still earn a full-time salary. Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it, but it’s not

For the period between now and when we are fully operational out of Dartford you will be required to work out of Tonbridge but to help make that work, we will help out with travel expenses

**Key details about the role**:

- Hours**:40 hours** per week, Monday to Friday
- Location**:Hybrid **(Dartford/Tonbridge and remote)
- Salary**:£26,000 - £28,000** depending on experience

**The role and what we’re looking for**:
Our credit controllers are key roles working within our Finance team to ensure both deadlines are met and clients are treated with respect, professionalism and a great service. In this role you will be responsible for liaising with our customers, ensuring they are aware of their payment terms and credit limits, whilst chasing overdue invoices in an empathetic and professional manner.

Experience in a credit control/sales ledger role is desired, but not essential as training will be provided

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Guarantee that all customers are aware of payment terms and credit limits
- Maintain and develop Customer Portal
- Liaise with the Sales Team
- Put in place, where appropriate, credit checks for new and existing customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities
- Regularly follow up with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
- Send out monthly client statements/letters as may be agreed from time to time
- Resolve customer disputes in a timely fashion
- Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
- Undertake account reconciliations as required
- Regularly review the Albion’s debt recovery procedures
- Issue credit notes and process receipts
