Working 08.00-16.00, this role will require team working and will necessitate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Applicants should have previous relevant admin experience and have a pro-active approach to a rapidly changing service. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a range of varied tasks. A flexible approach is essential as you will be required to assist the team according to the service needs, providing support to medical teams working in all areas of the Trust. There is collaborative working with other members of the multidisciplinary teams relating to transcribing patients past medical history, from current to previous episodes and events of admission. Utilising Trust systems to check patient data/information is correct, ensuring that a co-ordinated and streamlined administrative process revolves around the patient and their individual needs. Working rotational 1 in 12 weekend day shifts (Saturday and Sunday 08.00-16.00) with the following Monday and Tuesday off in lieu.

Based within a busy ward environment, you will be working alongside clinical staff assisting them with their admin duties including patient discharge letters which are completed when patients are deemed medically fit. This is a pivotal role embedded within the ward areas and allows our clinicians to spend more time with their patients. Previous administrative experience and a proactive approach to a rapidly changing service are vital as we enter the challenging but exciting time of digitisation within the Trust.
