We are excited to announce an opening for a Payroll/HR Officer. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Group Financial Controller and Head of HR.

This role will be based at our site in Henley on Thames but there may be occasional travel to our other sites.
- Be an experienced payroll professional used to processing multi-site monthly payrolls in-house
- Have experience of using Sage Payroll and HR Systems.
- Demonstrate ability to meet strict deadlines
- Be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- Have effective time management skills
- Have a can-do attitude and be able to communicate effectively
- A CIPP/payroll qualification is desirable
- You should be able to:_
- Complete payroll administration, ensuring new starters & leavers calculations (including accrued holiday payments) are made in a timely manner on the last working day of each month
- Calculation and payment of Tax, NI, Pension, SSP, CSP, SAP, SPP, SMP, overtime, unpaid absence, OT Holiday payments, Council & Court orders (Including Scottish Earning’s Arrestment Orders) are applied to the payroll system to a tight deadline each month, including the issue of E-Payslips/E-P60’s and the issue of P45’s to staff who leave our employment.
- Responding to employee queries on payroll, tax and benefits
- Other day-to-day tasks will include, RTI and pension submissions, year end processing,
- Keep up to date with relevant Payroll regulations/legislation, including administrating and implementing changes where necessary, ensuring that team are fully informed of any key statutory or company changes.
- Provide monthly reports on headcount, absence & turnover statistics
- General HR Administration relating to the employee lifecycle. (Onboarding, maintaining HRIS raising recruitment adverts, Probation Review documentation, organising training)
- In return you will receive;_
- Circa £32,000.00
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
