As a Service Leader Level 1, you will lead and manage a team of approximately 10 Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support in an independent living setting. The team supports individuals with a range of care and support needs, including learning difficulties, Acquired Brain Injury and complex mental health concerns. The team will support each individual to live the best life possible, to live independently in their own home and to access their local community. Good knowledge and experience of working with this client group and in a supported living setting is essential.

You will lead the team by driving performance, setting the pace and direction within services, promoting a positive and passionate culture, and ensuring that the service is always appropriately and effectively resourced. You will be responsible for the overall leadership, quality assurance, monitoring, regulatory requirements and day to day management of the staff team.

You will report to a more experienced Service Leader within the area who will work closely with you to upskill and develop you in the role.

This role is available to internal applicants as a secondment opportunity for an initial period of 6 months.

**Your values**:
With experience working in complex care within a social or health care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.

In addition, you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support in this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care.
