We are recruiting for Female Support Workers to support 4 ladies who all live in their own homes in Dumfries.
The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities and mobility issues, but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life The ladies enjoy lots of activities, including going out for lunch, picnics, art groups, swimming, knitting, jigsaws and going to parties. However, they’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.
Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. This can include:
- Supporting them with medication
- Cooking
- Assisting with personal care
- Maintaining the homes of people supported and managing their finances
Our team provide support 24 hours a day, so we are looking for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and sleepovers.

**This role is to provide support for 37.5 hours per week or 2 part-time roles would also be considered.**
