**A bit about the team.**

The?Fares Ticketing and Retail (FTR)?programme is fundamental towards creating a simpler and better railway experience for everyone in Britain. This is a once in a generation opportunity to significantly transform the customer experience by modernising ticketing, simplifying journeys, removing barriers, and ensuring people are charged fairly. We want to provide better travel information to help passengers whenever they need it throughout their journey and we’re working on improvements that give customers confidence when booking, making them feel valued for choosing rail.

**The job.**

We’re currently looking for someone to lead the FTR Programme Management Office function, to drive, monitor and control the successful delivery of the complex FTR transformation programme.

**What you’ll bring..**
- Programme or Project Management qualification, or sufficient demonstrable experience in delivery
- Comprehensive experience of outcomes-focussed transformation programmes and complex structures of underpinning change programmes and projects
- Experience and skills in managing a programmatic team in complex multi-stakeholder environments with strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate ‘priority’ insights in a clear and articulate way
- Strong analytical skills, able to identify trends from a broad range of programme and project data
- Possesses the ability to influence and maintain credibility with people at all levels across the business, and with key industry stakeholders.
- Action oriented self-starter with the ability to work effectively within a team, and will deliver as well as lead the PMO team
- Personal resilience, able to work productively in a challenging environment that includes a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty
