We urgently require a transport admin clerk to work with our client based in Cambuslang, Glasgow.
Immediate start available.
This role is all about administrative duties associated with the transport fleet at Cambuslang depot, accurately using their fleet management system for reconciliations, data entry, printing & filing from various monitoring systems. You will also be required to de-brief drivers on a daily basis after they finish their daily runs.
This is a general administrative role that involves following the processes already in place whilst handling all paperwork associated with their fleet.
The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday 1000am to 1830pm each day, however an expected level of flexibility will be required.
Pay Rate - £12 per hour
- Experience in a fast paced admin role, preferably within a transport & logistics environment.
- A high level of numeracy, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly
- Experience in working with an electronic POD and routing system (Microlise etc)
- Ability to liaise directly with delivery crews
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experienced and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail with the ability to spot potential problems
