**About Us**:
We are a small, friendly accountancy firm located in the heart of our community with an office based in Bishop’s Sutton near New Alresford. As we continue to expand, we are seeking to welcome a dependable new team member who will lead our Bookkeeping department, taking charge of our clients’ financial affairs.

**Your Role**:
In the role of our Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing our client’s day-to-day financial transactions, including:

- Accurate processing of client’s invoices and payments
- Reconciling bank statements and financial records
- Crafting and maintaining detailed financial reports and budgets
- Ensuring full compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparing and submitting VAT and CIS returns
- Preparing accounts up to trial balance
- Completion of income and expenditure accounts
- Direct legalisation with clients

**Who You Are**:
Proven bookkeeping experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and VAT.

Proficient with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Line50) and Excel are essential.

Your attention to detail is unmatched, ensuring accuracy in every financial document.

You are organized, can manage your time effectively, and can work independently.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

**Qualifications**:
Relevant certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field is essential.

Experience in a bookkeeping role for at least 2 years.

**Salary**: £14,196.00-£21,840.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 22.5 per week
