Personal Assistant to Director

**Company description**
Dog Trouble is a dog behaviour, training & wellness centre providing training and rehabilitation programmes to clients, with the ultimate goal of not only rehabilitating dogs but also to educate dog owners and people working with dogs about dog behaviour.
**Job Brief**
We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our small team. You will work alongside the Dog Behaviourist / Company Director as their personal assistant. You will deal with all dog behaviour enquiries, arrange behaviour workshops, manage the Dog Behaviourists diary and liaise directly with clients.
The Personal Assistant will report directly to the company Director.
This is a part time role - 15 hours per week; 3 hours a day.
Pay is £12.50 per hour.
Holiday allocation is based on a full year (January to December), which equates to 84 hours across a full year.

**Responsibilities**
- Checking the Company Director’s Outlook inbox daily.
- Ringing new behaviour clients to find out about the challenges they face and direct clients to the most appropriate service.
- Organising and managing the Company Director’s diary - booking consultations, coaching sessions, arranging residential programmes for dogs etc.
- Liaising with clients and the Sales and Office Administrator to organise residential training for dogs.
- Sending out behaviour proposals in a timely manner.
- Arranging behaviour workshops.
- Organising catering / refreshments for workshops.
- Organising monthly group coaching walks and 2 weekly socialisation walks.
- Raising invoices using QuickBooks and monitoring payment of invoices, chasing clients as necessary.
- Organising monthly 121 meetings for staff members, monthly team meetings and annual appraisals.
- Attend the above meetings, take notes and distribute accordingly.
- Ensure current and new staff have up to date contracts.
- Ensuring policies, procedures and risk assessments are up to date and meet the requirements of the Animal Welfare Inspectorate.
- Organising relevant insurances and memberships.
- Providing office / shop cover when required.
- Ordering supplies when instructed.
- Keeping organised records of documents and communication.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.
**Requirements and Skills**
- Proven sales and administration experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to provide a high level of customer service.
- Confident to actively promote services and products.
- IT literate with good typing skills and confident using Microsoft Office.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload effectively.
- Able to use Microsoft Office competently.
- Ability to work independently, using own initiative.
- Able to work as part of a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.
- Willing to learn and understand the requirements of the Animal Welfare Regulations 2018 Act.
