Assist the Printer in all aspects of the Printing department process, ensuring quality is to customer standards, and all departmental procedures are followed.
**You will**:
Assist in the set up and operation of the Printing presses, monitoring the quality of the product being printed, on a continual basis
Assist the Printer as required to ensure all customer specifications are adhered to and the job is set up in the allotted time
Maintain the machine and equipment to the agreed standards
Work safely, efficiently and adhere to all Health & Safety legislation
Adhere to all the necessary quality, including written, physical and visual checks in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Enter data into systems and spreadsheets
Liaise with the Team Leader and Printers to ensure departmental goals, targets and key performance indicators are met
**What you'll need**:
Knowledge of operating machinery (desirable)
Experience of working in a production environment (desirable)
Ability to understand standard operating procedures
Effective communication skills
Capable of performing their daily duties without direct supervision
Must be methodical and tidy in their work
Ability to work well as part of a team
A flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude
**Hours of work are**: 8 hr shifts (6-2/ 2-10 and 10-6 Monday - Friday)
