At Sealed Air Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Print Ink Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining stock control of all inks and solvents, ensuring good ink continuity of quality and color on the Rexon unit, and adhering to customer standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain stock control of all inks and solvents, by performing routine stock counts and ordering products when required.
  • Ensure good ink continuity of quality and color on the Rexon unit.
  • Adhere to customer standards and expectations.
  • Perform solvent recycling upkeep in outside containers and ordering.
  • Drive a forklift to load out the ink store with barrels of ink.
  • Keep stock of all doctor blades, ink deck tray seals, and spare ink pumps.
  • Ensure all operating and Health & Safety procedures are adhered to, reporting any safety incidents to management.
  • Maintain dispensing equipment and working area with good housekeeping techniques.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of operating machinery is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a production environment is desirable.
  • Ability to understand standard operating procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Capable of performing daily duties without direct supervision.
  • Must be methodical and tidy in their work.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to accurately record and maintain ink recipes and samples.
  • A keen eye for color and detail.
  • A flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude.

Hours of work are: 8 hour shifts (8am-4pm Monday to Friday)
