Customer Service/sales Administrator

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Support with handling of returns process for items requiring Strip/Survey & Repairs.
- Provide administration support to the Customer Service Team as required.
- Enter customer orders on ERP system according to Company standards and send an acknowledgement.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate to a more senior Company representative where necessary, to ensure that customer and Company expectations are met.
- Be proactive at all times in promoting the Company and resolving customer queries as efficiently as possible.
- Operate to Company standards as defined by the Customer Service Team Leader.
- Attend progress meetings as and when required in order to assess progress status and liaise with the customer as appropriate.
- Scan and archive documents as directed by the Customer Service Team Leader.
- Work to ISO / BSI standards and internal working methods and procedures.
- Provide administration support to the Sales Team as required.
- Perform other such duties commensurate with the nature and level of the post as may be reasonably required.

**Critical Competencies for Success**:

- 4 GCSEs (grade 5 or above) in English and Maths or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Demonstrable administration experience in an office environment.
- Ability to build relationships with and gain respect of customers and other internal functions.
- Demonstrable positive can-do attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Commitment to work to deadlines and determined to see a job through to a satisfactory conclusion.
- PC Literate and experienced in using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
- High level of attention to detail.
