**About The Role**:
Based out of our beautiful Head office in Datchet, Slough, SL3 9JT, Atlas are looking for an experienced human resource advisor to join our ever expanding company.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Providing managers with timely comprehensive advice on all employee relation matters.
- Case management of various types of case including but not limited to long-term sickness, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, capability.
- Gather relevant facts for each case to ensure the advice given is the most appropriate in the circumstances.
- Support with ER letter drafting including the formation of disciplinary allegations and reviewing outcome letters.
- Liaise with our legal and management teams on relevant matters.
- Support team with hearings
- Review and advise on case evidence/notes and procedural correspondence.
- Coach, guide, and influence line managers to take the best approach to dealing with employee relations issues.
- Build strong working relationships with line manager responsible for undertaking employee relation procedures.
- Identify opportunities for policy/procedural improvement.
- Ensure all cases are tracked and are being progressed in a timely fashion.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand and implement Company procedures, rules and requirements across the business
- Provide support when required with the TUPE transfer process, both incoming and outgoing
- Ability to manage high volumes of employee relations casework including dispute resolutions and settlements, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy
- Liaising with unions so union experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Ad Hoc project work to support the delivery of the people strategy

**Skills & Experience**
- Extensive case experience in a Generalist HR or similar ER role; working on complex grievances, conduct matters and performance management.
- Demonstrates strong working knowledge of employment policies, and employment legislation
- You will be highly organised and methodical with great attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding or processes involved in absence management, conduct grievance and performance cases.

**About You**:

- This role reports into the HR Manager for support and guidance. You will need to be competent in all Microsoft programmes, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as being able to understand other bespoke systems key to this role.
- You will have responsibility for employee relations cases ranging from absence management to ACAS liaison. You will participate in case management discussions and coach and mentor managers to be the best advocates of our Values they can be.
- You will be an integral part of the HR team as the Company and department enters an exciting new phase which looks to combine roles to create a hybrid business partnering role. This position is key to the successful delivery of the HR agenda across the business.
