We are currently recruiting for Vehicle Distribution Administrator for an Automotive Supercar OEM, on an ongoing contract basis to support the Vehicle Distribution team in the global delivery of its finished vehicles through to the retailer network. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a brand that is producing and delivering what are widely considered to be some of the highest performing sports cars on the market.
In an exciting and fast-paced environment, the Vehicle Distribution Administrator will have responsibility for supporting all aspects of distribution operations with a focus on sea freight operations, to ensure the on-time, in full, distribution of finished vehicles in alignment with business targets and objectives.
The Vehicle Distribution Administrator role:
- Accurate creation and timely submission of booking requests
- Communicate instructions to the logistics network to ensure vehicles are delivered in line with the requirement.
- Creating of additional, region specific shipment paperwork including Insurance Certificates, Packing Lists and specific customs documents for various markets
- Supporting vehicle movements with Production and Quality, as well as the distribution chain to ensure on time, in full delivery to the global retailer network by requesting delivery slots and contacting drivers to instruct them of the next required movements.
- Assisting with monthly freight billing reconciliations to support the monthly submission of costs to the Distribution Manager by collating all supplier paperwork and ensuring they match with the jobs completed within that month.
- Ensuring all SAP system transactions for each vehicle movement are performed in an accurate and timely manner by entering the data received by other members of the team
- Supporting the Distribution Coordinators with required paperwork submissions and data entry tasks
- Processing transport damage claims by updating various data for reporting to Distribution Manager
- Tracking and tracing of finished vehicles utilising various internal and external monitoring systems to ensure accurate inventory control and vehicle status at all times.
- Tracking, updating and reporting ETAs to the Distribution Manager to support the department in achieving wholesale.
- Accurate archiving of all vehicle distribution documents in both soft and hard copy formats, as applicable.
- Undertaking other departmental tasks and responsibilities as required in support of the vehicle distribution team.
- Collecting tracker data and reporting the outcome to the distribution manager.
The Ideal Vehicle Distribution Administrator:
- Experience working as a Vehicle Distribution Administrator or similar within an automotive production facility,
- Previous experience working within an OEM is an advantage
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Understanding and experience in a manufacturing/process driven environment ideal
- Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and experience with SAP is desirable
**Salary**: £111,111,111.00 per year
