**About the role**:
Join us in our Charlbury office and become an integral part of our dedicated team. As a Trainee/Assistant Account Handler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our client-centric services. This is also an exceptional entry point for those passionate about broking and insurance, as you will receive full training to excel in your role. This role would also suit those passionate about providing excellent customer service and administration.
From Charlbury, we offer the full range of insurance services. Our farm and estate work involves advising and providing insurance services to companies and individuals who own and manage rural enterprises. Our private client team works in partnership with our rural experts to ensure that clients’ personal interests are covered.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare renewal schedules and proactively engage with clients before renewal dates, adhering to compliance manual timescales.
- Be a welcoming face behind incoming new business inquiries, skilfully constructing new business quotations.
- Utilise your negotiation finesse to secure alternative quotes, always striving for the best outcome, where appropriate.
- Deal with the documentation, invoices, credit notes, and more, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
- Identify and capitalise on cross-selling opportunities to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Assist with Claims Handling alongside a dedicated Claims Handler.
- Comply with file management, compliance procedures, and FCA guidelines, maintaining meticulously updated records.
- Nurture strong relationships with esteemed insurance companies.
