**About the role***:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our business **Lycetts** Insurance Brokers in **Charlbury. **This role would suit someone with prior broking experience, or someone looking to start their career within broking and insurance as full training will be provided.
From our Charlbury office, we offer the full range of insurance services. Our farm and estate work involves advising and providing insurance services to companies and individuals who own and manage rural enterprises. Our private client team works in partnership with our rural experts to ensure that clients’ personal interests are covered.
**Key responsibilities**
***:
- To prepare renewal schedules and contact clients prior to renewal within compliance manual timescales.
- Answer incoming new business enquiries and prepare new business quotations.
- Negotiate alternative quotes - prior to renewal dates - where appropriate.
- Deal with all documentation, invoices, credit notes, etc. ensuring a smooth and trouble-free renewal for the client.
- Identify opportunities for cross sales.
- Assist with Claims Handling alongside a dedicated Claims Handler.
- Provide satisfactory outcomes to client requests.
- Comply with file management, compliance procedures and FCA guidelines.
- Foster good relations with insurance companies.
- Ensure that the Lycetts’ delegated authority under agency agreements is not exceeded
- Operate an effective credit control system and report as required.
**Knowledge, skills and experience**

- Good organisational ability.
- Experience in obtaining quotes and placing business.
- Confident communications skills - both written & oral.
- Good negotiating skills and the ability to build good relationships with stakeholders.
- Well-presented, hardworking, pro-active team player with initiative.
