CONMED is seeking a hardworking, creative, and detail-oriented team player to join our Marketing and Communications team as a Senior Copy Writer

**Responsibilities**:

- Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online
- Plan, research and write copy for the company website and microsites
- Edit and proofwork to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
- Collaborate with other teams such as Marketing, Regulatory, and Legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
- Implement brand guidelines
- Drive brand consistency across all company communications
- Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to develop creative ideas and promotional strategies and work with graphic designers to integrate written messages with creative design element
- See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
- Assist with project management and approval process and departmental engagement
- Ensure that projects within the Marcom department are delivered on time, and within the scope
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant departments and ensuring technical feasibility
- Estimate and report resource availability and allocation to management
- Develop project plans to monitor and track progress
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the requesting department and collateral producers

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of related experience

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- FDA regulated industry experience preferred
- High level of customer service
- Ability to work across multiple departments
- Detail-Oriented with excellent time management skills
- Ability to adapt a flexible workstyle to meet changing assignments
