We're on the hunt for a professional, engaged **Project Scheduler** for an **initial six month contract**, based in the United Kingdom. You'll hold responsibility for portfolio of globally based projects, scheduling requirements for these projects by working collaboratively with the PMO and matrix stakeholders across different regions.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Defining project schedule for potential and current porjects in collaboration with project and program managers, engineering teams, customer project manager and delivery teams, external suppliers and other stakeholders
- Adjust and redefine project schedules based on evolving requirements
- Financial analysis of program schedule changes
- Collaborate with Program Manager, transit agencies, committees, and other Vix departments to progress project goals.
- Develops presentations and prepares reports using standard computer-based office productivity tools(eg MS-Office, MS-Project, and Google Docs)
- Develops and produces reports on schedule performance, resource utilisation, cost and earned value.
- Properly identifies, logs, and prioritises risks related to the project schedule and associated risk response plans/recommendations

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Significant experience in all aspects of project scheduling (financial analysis, utilisation, risk and relationship management)
- Exposure to PMO/project delivery environments
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders both within and externally to Vix
- Capability to work flexibly and think innovatively in delivering project schedules within expected timeframes
- Good written, verbal communication and negotiation skills

**Please note: this position is home based (remote), with regular travel to Vix customer sites and Vix offices. This role has potential to convert to a permanent staff role in the UK.**
