HR Services provide a high-quality business service to our customers to support the frontline of UK research and innovation, while adding value.

Our HR Operations Team sit within this area and are responsible for delivering the core HR related services to our customers, managing the administration for all the changes that occur during the employee lifecycle.

We are looking for an organised and pro-active Performance Leader to lead and support a team to deliver an exceptional service to all our customers. You will be ensuring our service and performance levels (SLA’s/KPI’s) are achieved, providing support to our Senior Managers to maximise performance delivery and increase customer satisfaction, and making recommendations to improve and enhance this.

We are hoping to attract someone who would like to work in the business long term, as there is a likelihood of other opportunities being available at the end of the twelve-month contract.

To do this role well you will need:

- Experience of managing a small team (1-5 people), working in a busy customer focused department
- Operating to tight timescales and meeting SLA’s and KPI’s
- Attention to detail will be a key skill in your current or previous roles
- Experience of holding challenging conversations and understanding escalation procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly (both verbally and written) and build relationships with customers
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

In return for your skills and experience, we can offer you flexible and remote working options with start and finish times between 8am - 6pm, or part time hours to suit both you and the business. Our team usually work from home and come into the office once or twice a week, but we are flexible on this too. If it helps, there is even flexibility on which office you base yourself from - Swindon, Newport, or Billingham.
