About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced veterinary care leader to join our team at GLG Vets in Newport, Gwent. As part of our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working with a full-time, part-time, or flexible schedule.

About the Position:
This senior role involves performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on various animals. You will conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and minor surgeries. Additionally, you will collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Your expertise will be essential in guiding pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness. You will also maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  2. Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  3. Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  5. Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a veterinary degree from a recognized institution and a valid veterinary license to practice in the UK. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is crucial.

Benefits:
