What's the role about?:
**IT SOX Auditor**

**Full time, Permanent**

**Package**: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + company bonus

**Working**: Monday to Friday - 35hrs per week

**Location**: Hybrid - HQ Winnersh, RG41 / Remote

**Main purpose of**

Responsible for the implementation and management of the IT General Controls (ITGCs) for systems in scope (SAP BPC & Blackline) to ensure compliance with SOX requirements. This includes partnering with internal auditors (Deloitte), external auditors (PwC), ASL & ASM (US listed parent), IT & finance Stakeholders and 3rd party service provider for the systems in scope.

**Main responsibilities**
- Management of the ITGCs Matrix and systems process documentation
- Oversee and conduct the quarterly ITGCs review performed by ASL
- Oversee and conduct the quarterly and annual assessment of ITGCs operated by 3rd party service provider
- Oversee the walkthrough and testing program as instructed by the internal & external auditors
- Manage the remediation process for any identified deficiencies
- Manage the monitoring of identified mitigating controls in place
- Conduct the review of 3rd party service providers SOC 1 & SOC 2 reports
- Coordinate the testing of key reports as instructed by the internal & external auditors
- Manage the walkthroughs and testing process for Information Technology Application Controls (ITACs)
- Help implement ITGC for other key ASL systems even if they are not in SOX scope, including SDLC sign-off

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**

**Required**
- At least 4-5 years’ relevant experience in industry or an accounting firm
- Technical knowledge and good understanding of finance processes, risks, and controls
- Demonstrate experience of working on multiple projects and managing time effectively to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including attention to detail
- Demonstrate good Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise across different areas of the business and with staff at both senior and junior levels
- Flexible working over reporting periods
- A good team player and works well in a pressured environment
- Can adapt to a changing environment

**Preferable**
- Experience of implementing ITGCs on the systems mentioned as well as Dynamics 365 Finance
