Portsmouth City Council has an exciting opportunity for a talented internal communication and change professional to ensure internal stakeholders are well-informed, engaged, and that change is managed effectively within the organisation.

**Your New Role**
In this role you will join a small internal team where you will play a key part in delivering the council's internal communications and change strategy at a time of significant cultural change for the authority. This post will focus on the people side of change, including stakeholder engagement, building effective communication plans, as well as supporting the organisation to adopt changes to working practices.
You will contribute to the delivery of engaging communication and effective change management plans supporting council wide strategic priorities and change programmes. You will have specific responsibility for change and internal communication for the council's digital strategy and initiatives. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear internal communications and change project plans, ensure internal communications and change activity is effectively researched and evaluated. You will work on a hybrid basis, based in the council's civic offices headquarters, in the heart of Portsmouth's city centre.
