Housed in a landmark industrial building on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, Baltic is a major international centre for contemporary art.

We are recruiting friendly and dedicated Cafe Assistants to work within this iconic North East building, who can provide outstanding customer service to join our team at Baltic Kitchen. As a Cafe Assistant, you will have a range of duties from engaging with our customers, delivering a fast and friendly service and preparing high-quality beverages and products.

Join us and you will be part of a motivated and enthusiastic team in one of the best locations in the North East.

**We are recruiting for the following working patterns**:

- 1x Part time Wednesday to Sunday 20 hours per week, 5 days per week, 4 hour shifts.
- 2x Part time Saturday and Sunday 8 hours over 2 shifts.

**Key information**

**Reports to**: Events and Café Executive Manager

**Pay**: £10.89 per hour

**Working hours**: Working 8-hour days on a rota basis across our opening days Wednesday - Sunday, 09.45am - 6.15pm, you must be available to work evenings and weekends.

**Place of Work**: Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, South Shore Road, Gateshead NE8 3BA
