As Laundry Assistant, you will provide an efficient and effective laundry service that fully meets the needs of residents, along with high standards set to work in a care home.

You will be paid £10.42 per hour & contracted to 6-hours, every Saturday.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide high quality laundry service for all linen and resident’s personal clothing
- Ensure the laundry is cleaned to a high standard in compliance with specific guidelines and schedules
- Respect and always maintain confidentiality of resident’s personal information
- Understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements, ie. Health & Safety, COSHH
- To check that all residents personal clothing and items are individually labelled, maintained in good repair, and returned to the correct resident
- All equipment used is in full, safe working order
- Always be alert and use your own initiative, spot clean any spillages as they occur
- Be an active and helpful member of the team, contribute to staff meetings, attend training sessions, and ensure the care home is a friendly and supportive working environment.
