An exciting opportunity has arisen for a monitoring officer to join the Property Services team. The post holder will work with a small monitoring team, and will be responsible for the efficient auditing of a wide range of the Trust's contracted out services, including but not limited to domestic, catering, linen and laundry, portering, and waste. The post will involve working with senior staff both clinical and non-clinical to monitor the performance of services against contractual service level agreements and specifications.

We are recruiting for a part time role of 22.5 hours (3 days).

To undertake cleanliness inspections in wards/departments on a routine and ad-hoc basis.
To review contractor auditing and helpdesk data on a daily basis identifying and reporting any areas for improvement.
Liaising with the Monitoring Team Supervisor to support specific areas to improve standards through targeted and coordinated monitoring and rectification.
To report via the appropriate system all issues identified for contractor rectification, including a follow up review.
To assist in providing administrative and clerical support in respect of all facilities ‘contracts’ and associated administration.
To open, process and distribute incoming mail as appropriate.
To deal with telephone calls as appropriate, taking messages and/or dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
To provide administrative support to include photocopying, word processing of correspondence and reports, preparation of spreadsheets.
Provide regular reports to the Monitoring Team Supervisor, and as appropriate support the
Facilities Performance Manager and General Manager with data requests.
To take notes and minutes of meetings as required.
