We have an exciting opportunity to join a global HR team as HR Generalist supporting our EMEA region. Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner EMEA to provide partnership across EMEA, this is truly a generalist position covering recruitment, administration, compensation and benefits, employee relations and performance management.

This superb opportunity will provide high visibility through the organization to take your HR career to the next level.

Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues for our EMEA based teams by answering questions and resolving employee issues, according to established policies and procedures.

Providing advice, guidance, and support to line managers on a range of employee relations issues, including disciplinary and dismissal, grievance, absence, capability issues and workplace incidents.

Monitor and manage absence, including parental leave, short-term and long-term sick and occupational health incidents.

Conduct new employee orientation meetings, support the completion of onboarding/immersion plans.

Being part of supporting strategic HR projects which support the growth of the HR function and of the business as a whole.

Working with and keeping regular communication channels with employees and line managers.

Ensuring policies and procedures are consistently applied across the organisation and updating them to ensure legal compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibility for HRIS and Learning database globally

Liaise with payroll to ensure all people changes are captured correctly

Undertake a range of administrative duties to support the HR function

Help to coordinate employee related events that support engagement and experience

Perform other related duties as required

This position is based at our Brighton site with a minimum of 3 days a week onsite.

Contracted hours are 37.5 a week Monday to Friday, core office hours are 9am-4pm, we are open to flexible work schedules.

You will have at least 2 years generalist HR experience including employee relations experience and case management and be CIPD Level 5 qualified.

Solid knowledge of employment law and experience of supporting managers across a variety of departments at different levels in all aspects of HR and training

If you have gained your experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment this is a plus

You will need to be computer literate and familiar with databases, highly numerate for taking care of payroll and hold strong interpersonal and communication skills.
