**What to expect**

Based at the home of our principal design and engineering centre (CV35 0RR), offering: a flexible hybrid working model, company car scheme, bonus target of 10% of base salary, private health care, 26 days of annual leave, maternity (52 weeks) /paternity (2 weeks) leave, temporary overseas remote working, excellent company pension scheme.

From the moment you join us, you will be working with cutting-edge vehicles at the forefront of the luxury automotive market, supported by a highly skilled and robust vehicle attributes team.

Using your skills in vehicle dynamics, in particular, those in steering and handling, you will keep up with state-of-the-art vehicle test techniques in the industry and use this to keep JLR at the forefront of data-driven vehicle development.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will also:

- Continuously assess confidence in data-driven vehicle development to improve quality, accelerate feedback loops and enable virtual processes to replace physical development
- Develop the organization’s steering and handling body of knowledge and mentor engineers to develop their skills in vehicle steering and handling physics, characterization, perception, and tuning

Essential:

- In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics and steering and handling in particular
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle dynamics objective test methods employed in vehicle dynamics
