The part-time (roughly 19.5 hours/week) Community Liaison for Collegiate Recovery Program will assist with establishing the Collegiate Recovery Program at Bucks County Community College.
This is a grant-funded position, expected to continue through June 30, 2023, and will report to the Director of Counseling and Career Services.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with establishment of Collegiate Recovery Program at Bucks County Community College- Establish connections with local Recovery Programs- Research current recovery services in Bucks County, determine gaps that Bucks can assist with filling from the community perspective- Work with variety campus departments and partners to determine student recovery needs on campus- Assist with identifying potential partners for the program- Assist with establishing rapport and building relationships with identified community partnerships- Plan activities to strength connections with community partners, Bucks students, and college community- Recruit students to actively engage in brainstorming, planning and implementation of recovery program activities on the Bucks Campus- Establish recovery program task force to develop a solid plan for the implementation of a recovery program at Bucks- Provide training for staff, students, and community partners- Complete and provide final report
Hourly Rate: $20
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Addiction and Recovery
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Great Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Able to work with diverse population
