The Provost reports to the President, serves as the chief academic officer of the college and is responsible for all credit and non-credit educational programs. The position provides leadership in the following: faculty recruitment and development, program and curriculum development/review/improvement, academic initiatives supporting student success, faculty assessment of student learning, institutional and program accreditation, and course management. Additionally, the Provost provides financial oversight by acting with fiscal responsibility regarding faculty collective bargaining agreement, academic budget, personnel management and the overall academic enterprise. The portfolio of the Provost also includes these key areas: academic partnership development, dual enrollment, grants acquisition and management, along with research and data analytics.

Bucks County Community College was founded in 1964. Today, Bucks serves nearly 7,500 credit and 23,000 non-credit students. Classes are held at the beautiful 200-acre campus in Newtown Township, the Upper Bucks Campus in East Rockhill Township, the Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks in Bristol Township, and a robust virtual campus. The College is organized into six academic departments that include: Arts and Communication, Business + Innovation, Health Sciences, STEM; Language and Literature and Social and Behavioral Science. In addition, the Learning Resources department provides academic support services and hosts Bucks Online, a comprehensive online learning environment option for students. College non-academic programming demonstrates a strong commitment to equity and student basic needs support.

Bucks County Community College combines traditional academic disciplines with flexible educational programs preparing students for a future of technological and social change. The college is known for its commitment to workforce development and public safety training. The recently completed Center for Advanced Technologies in Bristol Township demonstrates the college commitment to providing state of the art noncredit offerings to the residents of the county. College public safety training courses are offered around the globe.

The location of the college in southeastern Pennsylvania gives residents easy access to the many and diverse cultural attractions of the Philadelphia metro region, as well as New York and Washington DC. The college is a county cultural hub with the Hicks Art Gallery, annual Poet Laureate competition and a performing arts center which hosts many artistic and cultural events.
- Earned doctorate from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- 7-10 years related experience that includes: College teaching and Progressive academic administrative experience with evidence of demonstrated accomplishments.
- Demonstrated experience in administration of faculty collective bargaining agreements.
- Demonstrated experience in regional and program-level accreditation.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of assessment techniques to document student success and the continuous improvement of instruction.
