Can you empathise whilst being firm but fair?** The Leigh Academy have a great opportunity and are seeking to appoint a **Student Services Officer** who will support students across the academy with attendance, with their behaviour for learning and their emotional wellbeing.

There may also be the opportunity to take on the role of Mental Health Lead, with training provided. This would involve liaising with external agencies for example NHS trailblazers and external counsellors who provide on site support for identified students, as well as overseeing external speakers delivering assemblies and workshops.

This is a permanent position offering an actual salary of £21,321 per annum (£24,789 full-time equivalent) based on working 37 hours per week, term time + 1 week of inset.
