**POSITION SCOPE**:
Under the direction of the HR team, oversee all staff accommodation activities in relation to ‘check-ins and check-outs’ of associates, cleaning public areas and bedrooms, undertaking general repair and maintenance of the buildings, both internal and external. Liaise with associates living in accommodation to maintain all required hygiene, maintenance, safety and security standards within the buildings. Staff accommodation currently consists of The Leafield, Burns House, Old GM’s House, Stationmaster’s Cottage, Edith’s Cottage, The Gatehouse and The Farmhouse.

**JOB FUNCTION**:

- Under the direction of the HR team, welcome new associates to staff accommodation and provide orientation for them of the buildings and local area by being an ambassador of Trump Turnberry and for the local area.
- Undertake rooms accommodation activities including but not limited to cleaning empty bedrooms, preparing rooms for new associate arrivals, managing par stocks (duvets, bed linen, towels, cleaning supplies etc), managing room key inventory to ensure a spare room key is held in the Accommodation Key Cabinet located within the HR Department.
- Regularly inspect rooms and public areas for maintenance requirements and plan a pro-active programme of maintenance and/or replacement via Alice.
- Responsible for cleaning all public areas of halls, corridors, stairwells, kitchens, bathrooms, exterior windows, laundry room and common room as well as assisting associates in maintaining their own cleanliness within their bedrooms, as well as in shared public areas.
- Undertake basic building maintenance requirements such as painting & decorating bedrooms and public areas, replacing/fixing flooring, basic electrical and plumbing activities by being the first point of contact for associates.
- Undertake basic grounds maintenance requirements such as weeding, litter picking, painting of fencing, cleaning bins, tidying bin areas etc

**CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION**:

- Excellent communication skills with departments, especially Human Resources, Housekeeping & Technical Services
- Knowledge and experience of Housekeeping cleaning & hygiene standards
- Must hold full clean driving license and have access to their own vehicle is desired.
- Good interpersonal skills are required with the ability to create & maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to work on own initiative whilst following and maintaining standards within staff accommodation
- Previous Housekeeping experience is essential, preferably at a supervisory level
- ‘Handyperson’ type experience preferred
