And that’s where you’ll come in. Carnival UK is recruiting for a Change Portfolio Director to join our friendly and welcoming Maritime Continuous Improvement team. You will have responsibility for the Maritime project portfolio delivery through the directownership of a PMO function, a team of Project Consultants & Managers, and indirect ownership for the delivery of projects through other functional team members within Maritime.

This role is offered on a Permanent basis

**The Role**

The Change Portfolio Director is an exciting and varied role, you will take responsibility to manage the pipeline of change demand across the full lifecycle of project management; ensure timely and accurate definition of our projects, execution, monitoringand controlling of our projects, and controlled closure and service transition of any benefits and operational changes.

You will:

- Be accountable to lead and drive the long-term strategic planning processes
- Work with senior leadership team to pull together long-term goals aligned to external and internal policies, corporate and business strategy
- Ensure successful prioritisation, planning, management and delivery of initiatives and business priorities
- Consider and analyse implications of planned change roadmap on the whole organisation. Identify and exploit opportunities for synergies between functions, departments and changes to minimise disruption, optimise benefits delivery
- Govern our change portfolio across the leadership team - present structured views on our initiatives and changes across the lifecycle of change, and drive value through structured definition of our change, and the transition into service of our change
- Evolve our annualised planning and prioritising processes through tools and techniques that will inform ship and shore stakeholders on what will change how, and what our resource requirements will be (people, cash, skills, time)

For at least two days a week, you’ll be based out of our fantastic offices in the heart of Southampton, less than two hours from central London. In our hybrid working environment, you can also expect to balance this with time spent working remotely everyweek.

To be considered as a Change Portfolio Director you will also need:

- Experience of managing and leading direct and indirect Project Managers
- Experience of managing and shaping a function, department, or businesses portfolio of change
- Experience of working in a complex project environment, balancing resource, budget, schedule, and operational pressures
- Experience of working within change management methodologies
- Experience of managing suppliers and resources
- Experience of leading and managing project management aspects of teams and related meetings to fulfill project(s) outputs under tight timelines; to ensure quality and cost
- Experience of developing and embedding new policies and procedures
