As a Barclays Fixed Income Securities Middle Office, you will part of an exciting and fast-moving function with more than 900 people in IB MO globally, helping with millions of financial transactions, worth billions of pounds. You’ll provide Trading support coverage to Front office partners/Clients and Back-office teams and be the primary point of contact for the European Macro Cash and EFT business, and be part of a continuously changing market environment, where Securities Operations drives market initiatives and regulatory changes.

**What will you be doing?**
- Providing Trading support coverage to Front office partners/Clients and Back-office teams
- Leading as the primary point of contact for Trading and Sales and ensure all aspects of deals are correctly booked throughout their life cycle
- Managing and resolving queries from various areas such as Trading/Finance/Settlements etc
- Conducting second check of trade capture input, investigation, and resolution of high-risk breaks; reviewing reconciliations, investigating, and resolving breaks
- Being the First line of contact for clients, brokers and internal teams for all discrepancies and issues
- Calculating and processing corporate actions on bond positions and updating risk/P&L accordingly
- Reconciling trades and positions between systems, with brokers and with exchanges
- Leading and managing a team of 5 individuals and ensuring all aspects of the role are covered and to the highest standard
**What we’re looking for**:
- Working experience in a Financial Services/Bank for few years in a Middle Office Operations role
- Good experience with Microsoft Office
**Skills that will help you in the role**:
- Solid grasp of Fixed income bonds and equity Exchange-traded products
- Prior experience dealing with settlements, Middle Office/Trade Support
- Diligent and able to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
