- Working as part of a busy team, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties within the Inventory department. This also includes the daily management of our Waste Management business. The workload is best suited to a self-motivated individual who is capable of working to deadlines._
**_ Role and Responsibilities:_**
- _Obtain & process daily depot orders._Maintain inbound delivery schedule & confirm bookings with suppliers._
- _Goods receipt stock._
- _Transfer stock between item codes._
- _Reschedule shortfall stock & update status with stake holders._
- _Raise non-stock purchase orders._
- _Obtain purchase order confirmations from suppliers._
- _Obtain & communicate POD documentation._
- _Reconcile supplier and carrier invoices._
- _Maintain team mailbox & respond to queries._
- _To support the Purchasing activity and maintain service levels toward targeted KPI’s._
- _Produce despatch labels and forward to the warehouse._
- _Filing/Archiving._
**_Skills and knowledge required:_**
- _Previous experience of working in an administration role._
- _Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail._
- _Work proactively to KPI targets and deadlines._
- _Experience of working to your own initiative in a busy office environment where issues can be time critical and effective communication is important._
- _High standard of PC literacy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook._
- _knowledge of the internal system is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given._
- _Good verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner._
**_Additional information:_**
- _Role is office based, but travel may be required on occasions._
- _Must have eligibility to live and work in the UK._
