Our client, Europe's leading independent manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and PU foams requires a Procurement & Purchasing Coordinator to work at its site in Tamworth. Duties include, responsible for all procurement and purchasing processes for mostly UK sourced products & services for the successful UK distribution subsidiary of a Belgian multinational manufacturer of Sealants, Adhesives & PU foams. The role will also include the follow up of some Private label customers nationally.

Job Role
- Handling of all aspects of local suppliers products: sourcing, negotiations, administration, inventory, etc.
- Procurement & purchasing of:

- Marketing point of sale materials - locally and internationally where required
- Office & warehouse materials and services
- IT & phone materials
- Leasing services for car fleet, forklifts, printers
- Liaising with vendors & head office purchasing team.
- Administration and follow up of limited number of private label customers that do not fall under the Sales Team remit, including contract negotiations
- Organisation of quarterly sales meetings (accommodation, meals, transport & entertainment)
- Developing relationships with internal stakeholders to understand future requirements.

Our client offers:

- Monday to Friday.
- 0830-1730
- £30,000 - £35,500 per annum (depending on experience)
