Warehouse Supervisor

Hours: 40hrs per week

Worktime: 7AM - 4PM

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse operative who is ready for the next step in their career, or an experienced supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Report the effectiveness of warehousing activities
- Maintaining the warehousing to the set GMP standards
- Organise and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure accuracy of shipment and inventory transactions
- Communicate job expectations
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilise reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish or adjust existing work procedures.
- Coordinate activities with other departments

Requirements and skills
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office tools
- Ability to input, retrieve and study data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A full UK driving license is essential
- A flexible approach to working days is needed.
- Ability to work on own initiative

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
