**Why this role is important to us**
Experian Consumer Services (ECS) are the team behind your Experian Free Credit Score, Experian Boost, and the Credit Expert product, and we have a great opportunity for a customer focused Lead Designer with exceptional creative flair and up-to-date ecommerce and design practices to join our team for a 12-month fixed term contract.
**Work that matters - what you’ll be doing**
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Lead Designer will set the workflow process and oversee execution of all in-house design requests for Experian’s consumer marketing function in the UK. The Lead Designer will also undertake a fair share of the backlog directly, with hands on execution and QA responsibilities.
The Marketing function is accountable for several strategic, customer and commercial goals covering all new and existing consumer propositions. The Lead Designer will collaborate with the Marketing leaders to prioritise design work at a strategic and tactical level to deliver against these goals.
In this role you will be leading a team of 3 direct reports, so experience of managing a team is necessary.

- An absolute passion for visual design and user experience
- Experience in brand creation, including logo, assets and guidelines creation
- Desire to manage a team of talented designers, with experience of doing so
- Experience working in the data, media & marketing industries a plus
- Ability to inspire and influence the wider organisation, as well as deliver against a roadmap
- An organised and strategic leader that can maintain focus within a team
