We’re have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our Group Delivery function on a 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that Fresh, part of the Watkin Jones Group - a market leading company offering third partyresidential for rent management services, benefit from robust commercial deals, best practice procurement processes which will benefit our student customers and assist with the Group’s strategic corporate objectives, notably ESG.
The role will work closely with Supply Chain Managers and the Head of Product Development to ensure that full efficiencies and innovations are harnessed and that suppliers comply with the Groups minimum standards across financial strength, safety, and relevantaccreditations.
**About You**
Ideally you will be a fellow of or member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or be working towards this. We’re looking for someone who has experience of driving supplier performance improvement with experience of negotiating largevalue contracts within a similar industry. You’ll need to be a result orientated person with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines and have excellent relationship management skills to be able to proactively manage major supply chain partners.Experience of experience working for a property managing agent is highly desirable but not essential.
