We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Professional to lead our procurement function and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing Pharma business and shape the procurement function from the ground up. As Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing and procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing and procurement of goods and services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements
  • Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage the inventory of products at the modern distribution center, optimizing stock levels and minimizing wastage

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally in the Pharma industry
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Experience managing inventory and logistics is desirable
