**Role Summary**

To co-ordinate, support and advise Managers and Employees, on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety across our factory and office. To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to help ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety are adhered to.

**Role and responsibility**
- Effectively advise, train and support Managers to ensure a safe workplace environment with minimised risk to health and safety of employees, contractors and other 3rd parties.
- Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, safe systems of work and procedures.
- Provide H&S induction for new employees and also issue, maintain and monitor PPE.
- Coordination of regular cross-site H&S Audits by a trained multi-disciplinary internal team.
- Ensure you regularly check that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Ensure you provide clear, relevant and timely advice to enable the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
- Support the Production Manager to ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
- Ensure that all accidents are documented, properly investigated and recommended improvements implemented.

**Qualifications, knowledge and experience requirements**
- Previous experience of being in a responsible H&S Co-Ordinator/ Officer role in a manufacturing environment.
- Implementing and managing hazard identification and risk management processes
- Managing Health and Safety investigations
- UK Health and Safety legislation/HSE knowledge
- NEBOSH certificate desirable, IOSH certificate essential
- Experience in designing and delivering H&S training
