**Role: Wellbeing Practitioner**

**Circa Salary**:£22,500 per annum

**Location**:Wirral, Liverpool.

**Contract/Hours**:Permanent Full Time - 37 hours a week.

**Closing Date**: Midnight on 26th February 2024. - Interviews will be held week commencing 4th March 2024.

**About the Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Practitioner to work across Wirral. We have been successful in securing funding for 5 years, to deliver a range of mental health and wellbeing interventions to children and young people.

We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual who is committed to supporting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing. The role will involve delivering a range of early intervention evidence-based programmes. Working with children and young people, their families and trusted adults.

Working in the Wirral community will give you the chance to do real life-changing work with children and young people aged between 5 and 18 years old. Not only will you be part of a supportive and passionate team within Action for Children, but you will also be collaborating with a range of providers to support the success of Wirral's emotional health and wellbeing provision.

You'll need to be comfortable and confident to vibrantly lead the room and engage with children, young people and adults. You'll be quick-witted and able to lead the conversations, through adapting your approach to meet the needs of the service users.

**As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you'll be**:

- Part of a team of Practitioners to deliver a range of emotional health and wellbeing interventions.
- Delivering group work and individual support
- Equipping service users with skills to manage emotional wellbeing.
- Working in partnership with Wirral community providers such as education, the voluntary sector and health services

**Our job description for the Wellbeing Practitioner outlines the requirements of the role but the ‘must-haves' are**:

- Level 3 Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of delivering evidenced-based interventions.
- Experience of working with children and young people and families.
- A commitment to supporting emotional and mental health and act as an ambassador,
- Access to a vehicle or transport for travelacross Wirral.
