**About us**
The role would involve working within the Children & Young Peoples Partnership team to support all members of staff with administration duties and support. As the Prevention & Partnership Administrator you will be part of a multi skilled team, supporting numerous existing and developing projects/initiatives. Situated within Learning and Skills Directorate the team works across the Local Authority (Social Service, Neighbourhood services, Corporate etc), and in partnership with a wide number of external organisations (Health, Third sector, training providers, Users, Carers and Welsh Government etc), providing effective and quality outcomes for Vale residents. The role is developmental as team deliver a wide range of different projects in response to various grant funding streams.
**About the role**
To provide administrative support to the Prevention and Partnerships Team. - To produce documents, letters and reports using a wide selection of ITC packages. - To maintain filing and internal systems (such as TRIM, ONE, RMU etc) - To assist with the setting up of meetings & events, booking venues and providing support at events. - Inputting and authorisation of Invoices on the Oracle Fusion system for the CYPP team - To record expenditure for budget monitoring purposes. - To act as receptionist and deal with public enquires as required. - To take minutes for various groups as required. - Ordering resources and raising invoices on the I-Procurement system. - Administration of claims and distribution of Petty Cash. - To help with make up of packs and distribution of Period Dignity stock to internal and external teams/organisations. - To attend team meetings, supervision and team/departmental training sessions, taking a lead in your own personal development. - Any other duties commensurate with the grade. Hours of work -. 25 hours per week Rate of pay - National Minimum Wage Location of placement
- Civic Offices, 3rd Floor, Holton Road, Barry, CF63 4RT Contract - Temporary (6 months)
**About you**
A basic understanding of Microsoft packages is required - basic use of Word and Excel, as well as use of outlook. A desire to learn new skills and become part of the team, to ensure that the team can function at the highest level, supported by the management team. No experience is required although some basic office admin experience would be desirable.
