The primary purpose of the Equality and Inclusion Support Officer role is to:

- Provide Equality, Diversity and Inclusion support to the Equality and Inclusion Business Partner for Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB).
- Provide a professional, high-quality support to the Equality and Inclusion Business Partners, Equality and Inclusion Team Manager and Head of Equality, Diversity and Human Rights. The post holder will work closely with Equality and Inclusion Business Partners to develop and support systems and processes to effectively support the Equality and Inclusion Team in their work
- Provide an equality and inclusion service to Integrated Care Boards, our customers, our partners, and within the NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU).
- Assist the Equality and Inclusion (E&I) Business Partners in a range of duties as required.
- Support the E&I Team and our customers in the development and use of online Equality and Health Inequalities Impact and Risk Assessments (EHIIRAs) tools such as U-Assure
- Support activities of the E&I Team in gathering information, conducting research and carrying out Equality and Health Inequalities Impact and Risk Assessments (EHIIRAs) for customers and MLCSU
- Compile, prepare and produce agendas and papers for E&I team meetings, take formal and informal minutes/action notes
- Supporting the E&I Business Partners and E&I Team Manager in preparation for reports
- Develop and maintain current information and content for the Equality and Inclusion webpages
- Create and maintain databases, spreadsheets and reports as required
- Support E&I Business Partners with the coordination of events and training for ICBs and other customers
- Attending meetings or working from ICB offices as required which may involve travelling to a variety of customer bases and different locations
- Dealing with queries from ICBs, customers, stakeholders and internal MLCSU staff
- Delivery of E&I training in accordance with customer needs and CSU requirements
- Undertake and support on bespoke E&I project work including research

**General**:
