**About the role**:
Our fulfilment department is a critical part of our business. Reporting to the Packing Supervisor, the Hygiene Operative is a valued and important part of the team helping ensure that Donald Russell is legally compliant in hygiene standards as a Food Business Operator (FBO).

**Note this is a part time position working up to 5 days per week, 10am until 2pm.**

Main responsibilities:

- Maintain the highest quality hygiene standards in all communal areas within Donald Russell.
- Ensuring cleanliness and quality hygiene standards in both male and female toilet areas.
- Ensure good housekeeping practice within the working areas.
- Ensure all personal equipment and machinery is kept in good and safe working order.
- On a daily basis, use of automated floor scrubber and associated cleaning equipment
- Moving, lifting and stacking product where required.
- General housekeeping of outside areas including litter picking, clearing of leaves etc.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you should have;
- Previous experience within a hygiene role is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
- Flexible in approach and willingness to carry out reasonable requests
- Willing and keen to learn
- Good organizational ability

Able to work under pressure and to high standards

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
