With sites strategically located throughout the UK, we have an opportunity at our site in Inverurie for a
Lairage Operative to join our team.

• Safeguard the wellbeing of livestock.
• Move livestock to secure holding pens causing mínimal stress.
• Keep the abattoir serviced with livestock.
• Keep the lairage facilities clean and tidy.
• Adhere to Company hygiene practices & animal welfare procedures.
• Comply with health & safety rules, to prevent / minimise the risk of accidents.
• Participate in training, in accordance with your personal training plan.
• Carry out any additional duties that may be reasonably requested by the manager.

• Have moderate to high degree of physical ability.
• Be a team player.
• Have good communication skills.
• Cope with blood and excrement.
• Follow food safety and hygiene rules carefully and responsibly.
• Use blades and machinery carefully and responsibly.
