Van Sales Representative

**Main Responsibilities of the Role**:
This is a customer facing role which requires you to build strong customer relationships within the Parts sector of the business to new and existing customers. You will be expected to promote and deliver JCB parts within the defined JCB territory to meet company targets whilst adhering to company policies and procedures.
**How you’ll Play Your Part.**
**About you**
Previous van sales experience is required for this busy role, you will need to be highly motivated, and target-driven with a competitive nature. Exceptional communication and presentation skills along with excellent persuasive and negotiation skills come naturally to you, along with a positive, can-do attitude. You will be able to develop relationships effortlessly and have a great understanding of the plant machinery market.
**Duties**:
- Proactively sell parts to ensure retail sales growth, supporting all campaigns (including JCB initiatives)
- Build strong and positive relationships with customers
- Build and document knowledge about the customer business and technical setup
- Feedback any important customer information to the company
- Promote and deliver the current range of JCB parts within the defined franchise territory and meet company targets
- Deliver Parts in response to customer requests and in a timely manner
- Complete weekly customer call sheets accurately and in a timely manner
- To meet and exceed customer expectations on customer service
- Establish and maintain good levels of communication within and outside the business
- Complete all Parts administration accurately and in a timely manner
- Contribute to overall success of Watling JCB through teamwork and good communication within the company
- Appropriate reporting to Management
- Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy and adhere to all company policies in accordance with the Company handbook terms and conditions of employment
- Provide excellent customer service
- Any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the role
**Criteria**:
- Proven track record of Parts sales within Construction or similar industry
- Automotive, truck or car experience, or dealership background is desirable
- Proven record of making calls resulting in sales is desirable
- Knowledge of ADP and TBS desirable (training will be given)
- Clean driving licence and good driving record
- Fork lift truck driving licence is desirable (training will be provided)
- Teamwork, ability to work confidently within a group and on own initiative
- Time Management, ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines, whilst being quality focused to ensure the right parts are sourced
- Drive and determination to get things done, make things happen and continually looking for better ways of doing things
- Availability to work Saturday morning rota as overtime
- Proof of right to work in the UK
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
